My work.
I’ve always loved women’s magazines and this is where most of my work appears. I’ve written for all the major titles, weekly and monthly, and my work now appears regularly in over 22 countries. Editors and readers alike often tell me how much they enjoy my work for its warmth,

empathy and, occasionally, humour too. Among my credits are: Oprah Magazine, Marie Claire, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Elle, Cleo,

Company, She, WeightWatchers Magazine, Woman and Home, Irish Tatler, Essentials

and Sainsbury’s Magazine. My national newspaper credits include The Guardian, The independent,The Observer, The Mirror, The Daily Record, The Irish Examiner, The Bangkok Post and The South China Morning Post.

Corporate writing.
My most recent client is NHS North West and here is a piece I placed for its Equalities and Diversity Team: A partnership of equals, and here is a blog I placed for this client.

I have also worked as a corporate copywriter and editor for Staffordshire University, Virgin Trains, QUIT - the charity that helps people give up smoking and Working Families - the charity that helps parents to lead balanced lives and lobbies on their behalf. I’ve also written a guide to counselling for the BBC, edited a booklet on gay men’s health and written guides for a healthcare website.

I’m keen to expand this side of my business. I master a brief very quickly and always deliver on time. I love fresh challenges and especially enjoy turning business jargon into something people actually want to read!
